* Now A Police Case As Husband Alleges:"He Has Fathered 2 Kids With My
Wife"
It was a drama of the absurd at Area M Police Command in Alimosho Local Government of Lagos, recently, as popular Alfa (name withheld) who runs a big prayer group other wise known as "Asalatu" in Isheri-Osun in Alimosho with branches across the state, found himself in a deep mess of allegedly sleeping with a married female member. And the woman in question is said not to be an ordinary member but the "Amira"(female leader) of the Ejigbo branch of the prayer group.
According to the findings by this blog, the whole episode began when the Amira's husband who is said to be an Alfa himself but not a member of the prayer group that his wife attends every Sunday, realized that things were getting rough for him. And he decided to find a spiritual solution to the situation with some other Alfas who specialized in consultation for people. And that was where he was reportedly told that it was his wife's persistent infidelity that was the root cause of his problem.
And on getting home, according to the account given by the man at the police station, he confronted his wife with his findings but the Amira denied ever engaging in any illicit relationship with anybody. How ever, after pressurising the woman, she allegedly confessed to taking an oath of secrecy with the prayer group founder over their affair which was said to have been commissioned by the prayer group founder with a ram's horn laced with reddish fettishistic materials, just like one used by herbalists.
The woman was said to have further squeeled that the last two out of their four children were fathered by the prayer group founder with whom she had been sleeping for up to three years. And shortly after her confession, the Amira was said said to have been struck with some spiritual attack which made her to start behaving strangely and talking more like a lunatic. And that was believed to be the resultant effect of the oath she took with the prayer group founder.
Consequently, the woman's husband mobilized some people with himself to the prayer group founder's house where he was confronted with the allegation. But the prayer group founder was said to have flagrantly denied ever sleeping with the woman but never the less, gave them an undisclosed amount of money to go and take care of the woman with. Yet, the husband later returned with policemen who took the prayer group founder to their station. And after speaking with the two parties, they were asked by the police to return a week after for amicable resolution at the police station.
But still not satisfied, the woman's husband allegedly went to the prayer group founder's house with some Odua People's Congress (OPC) members and they destroyed things in his house as well as his cars. And that was why the prayer group founder reported the destruction of his properties at the Area M Police Command. And at the station, the Amira's husband was said to be in tears all through lamenting that since he married his wife, he had never slept with any other woman but uknown to him, his wife was having a field day with another man. And an Alfa for that matter.
As at the time of this report, the two parties had written their statements at the station and the Amira herself who was also at the police station was confirmed to be in a lunatic state.
