EXPOSED!

*How Popular Islamic Artiste, Ibrahim Labaeka, Snatched       My Wife, Takes Custody of My 4 Children, Man Alleges

A Yoruba proverb says: “Iyawo ole l’angba, enikan kii gba omo ole,” meaning, you can only snatch the wife of a helpless man, you cannot take over his children. But that time-tested saying seems to hold no water with popular Islamic artiste, Ibrahim Labaeka, going by the findings in this story. Trust this online medium, Different Stroke Media; we never promote lies or half-truths. And this same tradition of nothing but the truth was maintained in digging into the details of this story of stark immorality on the part of one the people expected not only to preach piety but also live by example. It is pertinent to state at this point that when Different Stroke Media first got wind of this story, it was through a third party who happens to be a close friend to the gentleman affected but we took our time to meet with the victim of the oppression himself, and heard from the horse’s mouth before coming to town with the story, though that took us months to achieve.

Now, the story in full. Anyone who listens to Islamic music must be familiar with the name Ibrahim Labaeka. Yes, he is the Ilorin, Kwara State, born, bred and based artiste who started making waves in the Islamic gospel music industry, many years ago. But do you know that the talented singer has relocated to Abeokuta, Ogun State? Though, reasons for his relocation still remain sketchy, but we have it on good ground that, his coming to Abeokuta has come with a major incident. And this has to do with a grave allegation of his snatching another man’s wife and taking custody of his 1,2,3,4 children, all at a go! Surprising? That’s the same feeling we had when this exclusive story first came to our hearing. According to the fair complexioned and good-looking husband of the snatched wife (names withheld), the genesis of the whole story was when Labaeka came into town to inspect a flat just secured for him as his new place of abode in Abeokuta. Unfortunately for the man, it was the same building where Labaeka came to see that he had also been brought to secure a new flat. Labaeka was to live upstairs and him, downstairs.

It is important to mention here that, the location of the house is Kolobo, Abeokuta, and the man’s snatched wife, a tailor, had her shop right opposite the building already. Meanwhile, the snatched wife, the husband and their children were living in an area called Car Wash, a far-flung area in Abeokuta. And it was due to the nagging by the wife to her husband that her shop was too far away from the house that made the husband who was a contractor with one of the major telecommunications company in Nigeria at that time to decide to find another accommodation in a place close to his wife’s shop. He felt, after all, he was always away from the house because of business commitments and it would only be fair to do what would be convenient for his wife. So, it was in the course of inspecting the would be accommodation that the man’s path crossed with that of Labaeka at the same building.

“I am a good fan of Labaeka’s music and I have a lot of his albums at home that my children watch from time to time. So, when I got to the place of the new accommodation and my children who had gone with their mum to her shop came around me before Labaika arrived a few minutes later, it was easy for my children to recognise him and they said, ‘daddy, look at Labaeka’. And immediately, they ran to meet him. It was in the course of asking for their names one after the other, that Labaika realised that, one of them is also named Ibrahim, just like himself and he developed instant liking for my son whom he called ‘my name-sake’. And few minutes later, my children led Labaeka straight to their mum’s shop to let her know that Labaeka was there. And that, unfortunately became the beginning of my misery,” he lamented.

He said, Labaeka, obviously took instant liking for his wife whom he described as being well-endowed in both the posterior and exterior regions. Although, the man did not eventually rent the house, but the damage had already been done. Labaeka on his own part, took residence in the house and before the man would know what was happening, stories started filtering to him that, his wife had been seeing Labaeka. And to make situation worse, the man’s business ran down shortly after and that was occasioned by his inability to live up to some of his responsibilities.

Hence, as you read this, as confirmed by the man, his wife now lives, unabashedly, under the same roof with Labaeka, as well as his 4 children. And all his effort to get them back had remained abortive. It would also interest you to know that, Labaeka would some time call the man on phone, reportedly, to make jest of him. “He would tell me that if I feel like sleeping with my wife, there is chance for me to come and do it in his house as he would give a room to us for that purpose.”

Meanwhile, all efforts to reach Labaeka for his own side of the story have remained abortive as he would not talk whenever he picked his calls or respond to text to texts messages sent to him.

*At Last, Globacom Compensates 3 Neglected Winners Of 2011 Trip To Dubai Promo

+How Saheed Ojubanire Online Mediated For Victims Successfully

Saheed Ojubanire Online has done it again! And this time around, it’s not about a helpless woman denied access to her daughter for 24 years who Saheed Ojubanire Online with its philosophy of striking a difference from all other online media platforms of blogs, helped in re-uniting with her daughter(you can read the full story by surfing into previous stories on this blog). In this instance, it’s about some winners in a promo conducted by Globacom in 2011 and were neglected after they had been given dummy tickets of winning an all expense paid 3 day trip to Dubai for which their pictures were quickly published in national dailies to build goodwill for Globacom with Nigerians. For more than 2 solid years, officials of Globacom who were supposed to see to their travelling formalties left them in the lurch and cut off all communications with them.

But when the case was brought to Saheed Ojubanire Online in 2012, they were assured of all measures required to get them their compensation from Globacom and that has finally been achieved. The victims: Adediran Folasade Omo-Emi from Osun state, Taiwo Ariyo Nurudeen, also from Osun state and Lasisi Alliu Olasunkanmi  from Lagos were all given #500,000.00( Five hundred thousand naira) cheque each, about two weeks ago, at the Mike Adenuga Tower, Adeola Odeku Head Office of Globacom in Lagos. Though closed cheques, Saheed Ojubanire Online also helped them with the banking measures required in cashing such cheques. And the trio could not believe their eyes when they got their money.

It is pertinent to appreciate the efforts of the officials of Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) and National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) who worked assiduously with Saheed Ojubanire Online to correct the wrong of the past on the part of Globacom almost 3 years after.

Saheed Ojubanire Online would unflinchingly keep to its creed of making the difference in the Nigerian media till this country is returned to the part of righteousness. Insha Allah.
