YEYE OGE AKESAN FOUNDATION SET TO GIVE SCHOLARSHIP TO FEMALE STUDENTS IN ALIMOSHO
This is indeed a good time for female secondary school students in Alimosho area of Lagos State as Yeye Oge Akesan (YOA) Foundation being run by Chief (Mrs) Aminat Ige-Afinju is set to roll out schorlarship to students who excel in the subject of Mathematics.
Otherwise tagged: YOA Mathematics Competition (Encouraging the Girl Child) for which eligibility for the 2018 edition is restricted to female students in Junior Secondary School (J.S.S.) 1 to 3, the competition attracts a scholarship award worth #100,000.00 (One hundred thousand naira) to the winner while first and second runners up would go home with consolation prizes.
Footnoted with a tagline "Making More Aminats", the process of the scholarship would kick off with orientation programme at Akesan Townhall on September 29th, 2018 and screening would take place on October 20th at Bemsolag High School, Akesan, after which the ball of the competition would finally be set rolling.
