Fuji Stars, K1, Sefiu Alao End Cold War At Socialite, Slaab's Daughter's Wedding In Abeokuta

Though not very pronounced but keen observers of happenings in the Fuji music industry cannot be said to be unaware of a simmering cold war between two Fuji music stars, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1) and Alhaji (Dr.) Sefiu Alao (Agbara Orin). The cold war which was ignited by a live video CD from Agbara Orin titled: "Oba Mewa" which found it's way to the music shelves many months back in which Sefiu Alao was analysing the origin of the endless conflicts among Fuji artistes and went ahead to call out the name of K1 as one of the major architects, had seen K1 trying to avoid coming face to face with Agbara Orin ever since the release of the live CD. K1 was seriuosly miffed with Sefiu Alao's effrontary, sources revealed.

As a matter of fact, reliable sources squeeled to this blogger that when K1 and Sefiu Alao found themselves within the same place during a foreign tour which they differently embarked upon not too long ago, K1 ensured that he did not get too close to where Shefiu Alao was so as to deny the latter the opportunity of exchanging pleasantries with him, at least for public posturing. And Sefiu Alao on the other hand was said not to be too keen on going the extra mile to greet him since he noticed he was being avoided.

But all that seems to have come to an abrupt end as the duo ran into each other at the wedding ceremony of one of their big mutual fan, Alhaji Sulaiman Omidina otherwise called Slaab or Sule Yoboro's daughter's wedding in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Friday, 28th October, 2016. The high society wedding which took place in an expansive marquee within Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) had K1 as the artiste on the band stand, while Sefiu Alao was there as one of the bride's fathers (Baba Iyawo) being a long time friend to Slaab.

And so, K1 and Sefiu Alao exchanged very warm greetings expected to have brought an end to their cold war at the wedding.
