Come Friday, August 26th, 2016, the Rock City as Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State is also called would really rock with sublime entertainment as some of the best artistes in Nigeria would be coming together to honour one of their own, Akinola Ayoola Michael better known as Alayo Melody Singer, a very talented Gospel/Juju artiste based in the state at his Double Album Launch (audio & video) and Thanksgiving.
According to the Living Legend of Global Orchestra as Alayo is fondly called by fans, the all-night event billed to start by 7pm prompt would take place at the Nucleus Event Centre, Oke-Mosan, and would be featuring on stage Alhaji (Dr.) Sefiu Alao Adekunle a.k.a.Baba Oko, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma a.k.a. Ijoba Fuji, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere a.k.a. Ologbojo 1, Alhaji Abdul-Kabir Bukola Alayande, the Innovator 1, Evang. Lanre Teriba Atorise, the Adegbodu Twins, Prince Abel Dosumu a.k.a. Mega '99 and St. Janet a.k.a. Mama Yabis.
The masters of ceremonies (MCs) for the "all white party" are star actor, Otunba Bolaji Amusan better known as Mr. Latin and popular broadcaster, Kolawole Adejojo a.k.a. Kasnaty. And there would be special comedy deliveries on stage by two comic merchants, Baba Tee and Dr. Smile, who are said to be loading their containers of jokes at their ports of humour already. The event is being packaged by NEC Entertainment and it promises to shake Abeokuta to its foundation when it is held.
