are what answers are going to be provided to at the 2016 Islamic Music
and Associated Nominees (IMAN) Awards’ event scheduled to hold on
Sunday, May 22nd, 2016 at Quadosh Place, Plot 92-95, Kudirat Abiola
Way, Opposite Skye Bank, Oregun-Ikeja, Lagos.
The first of its kind event being put together by Synergy Media is
billed to take-off with Red Carpet by 2pm prompt and all the big names
as well as up and coming acts in the Islamic music industry nominated
in different categories of the awards are expected to storm the event
for their moments of honour and glory as winners would be presented
with award plaques that would confer on them the bragging rights to
lay claims to being the best in any category they have come out tops
at least, for the next one year, according to the votes of their fans
home and abroad. The categories and nominations for the awards can
still be checked online by searching for “Nomination for IMAN Awards
2016” on the internet.
Meanwhile, the award event which would be hosted by consummate
broadcaster and distinguished humorist from Abeokuta, Ogun State,
Musiliu Sanni popularly known as Mr. Bebe or Bebe Musiliu, according
to the organizers, promises to be fun-filled as the very refined
Master of Ceremonies has promised to crack new jokes from his just
upgraded repertoire to make the event one to remember for everyone
coming for the event. "And for those who know him very well, they
would attest to the fact that his words are always his bond," the
organizers gushed.
Their Press Release further stated that: "It would be recalled that
voting period for Islamic artistes on one hand, and Associated
Nominees on the other hand, into different categories of IMAN Awards
lasted for about seven weeks during which nominees were charged to
engage their fans and well-wishers to vote for them by sending
pre-defined type of message to dedicated telephone lines. And Islamic
music fans thereafter spoke with their votes which came in a deluge
from all the continents of the world, therefore, it is safe to say
that winners who would be announced and presented to the world at the
forthcoming event would be very authoritative globally.
