Mr Okunade,

I am sorry that you can not make it to our hospital on 26th October.  I can give you another appointment on 24th November.

In the meantime, it would advisable for you to get the plaster removed by a local doctor in Nigeria as the wound may need dressing.

Shall await your intimation for travel,

Regards,
Dr. H. Mody

*More Than A Year After Relocating To Home Town, Abeokuta

*Yoruba Comic Actor, Lanko Still Resides In Hotel

When a man decides to return home from where ever he is sojourning, the general expectation is that he is relocating into either his personal house(rented or owned) or his family house. But that is not the case with popular Yoruba comic actor, Adeola Soremi, who is better known as Lanko. The bald-headed and lanky rib-cracker who relocated to his home-town, Abeokuta, Ogun state, from Ikorodu in Lagos state, more than a year ago has been taking residence in different hotels ever since. Findings by Different Stroke Media has revealed that the witty actor started off with Neu Gate Hotel behind MKO Abiola stadium, Ijeun Tuntun, Abeokuta, and resided in the hotel owned by former Local Government chairman of Ifo, Hon. Sikirullahi Ogundele, for many months. But as you read this, the actor has "packed out" of the five thousand naira per night hotel, into another one on the outskirts of the city. He is now reportedly "living" in Luk-Jim hotel, a newly commissioned hotel within Olowomoore area of Abeokuta. And the hotel owned by a socialite, Lukmon Ogo-Oluwa, has now become the new haven for the fair-complexioned comedian who has a predilection for A+ women. And for how long "Omo Oba Dubai" as the talented thespian also calls himself, is going to be a "tenant" in the hotel before moving into another one remains a matter of time.

Yoruba Actress, Bisi Komolafe Had A Premonition Of Her Death--Aunt Laments

Bisi Komolafe Gave Me A Pink Gown To Wear On The Day She Died--Aunt

While the Nigerian entertainment community still mourns the sudden death of star Yoruba actress, Bisi Komolafe, indications are rife that the sultry thespian must have had a premonition of her death. According to her aunt whom she reportedly stayed with in Ibadan, Oyo state during the period of her sickness, she (Bisi) presented her (the aunt) a pink gown to be worn on the day she eventually died. “She gave me a pink gown few days back that I should wear it today (Tuesday, 1st of January, 2013), but I never knew she was telling me she was going to die." The grief-stricken woman told Nigerian Tribune.

Meanwhile, one of the significance of pink colour as found out in a study of colours and their meanings http://crystal-cure.com/crystal-balls.html suggests the need to accept what one cannot change. Hence, the gift of pink dress to the aunt to be worn on the day she passed on could be a tacit message to her family members that she had accepted her fate.

It would be recalled from the account of the circumstance that led to her death that she battled with an undisclosed ailment for months and had to be taken from the hospital to a church for divine intervention but had to be returned to the hospital when her condition failed to improve. Hence, after seeing all that the sickness had taken her and her family through without any significant improvement in her condition that could necessitate the acceptance of fate by the beautiful role-interpreter.

"Bisi was said to have been moved out of the hospital three weeks ago to an undisclosed church, but had to be rushed back when it was obvious her condition had gone worse. She was said to have taken about 40 units of blood before she finally died on Tuesday morning."Nigerian Tribune further reported.
